Terms of service
The arrangement, in plain English.
What you can hold us to, and what we ask of you. No contracts, no minimum number of visits, no cancellation fee and no card kept on file. If anything here is unclear, call (615) 257-6177 and ask — we would rather explain it now than argue about it later. See also the room-by-room checklist and the price list.

1. Who these terms are with
These terms cover cleaning services provided by Little Debbie 2 Rescue Cleaning Service, a family-run cleaning business based in Lebanon, TN, serving Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area.
You can reach us at (615) 257-6177 or hello@ld2rcleaningservice.com. Booking a clean means you agree to what is on this page.
2. Quotes and prices
We quote a flat price before the visit, based on what you tell us: the size of the home, the number of bathrooms, its condition, and how long it has been since the last professional clean. The ranges published on our price list are estimates for the area, not offers.
If the home turns out to be materially different from what was described — significantly larger, or in a condition that needs substantially more time — we stop and talk to you about it before continuing. We do not do the extra work and then send a bigger invoice.
If you would rather not go ahead at the revised price, we clean what the original quote covers and leave. There is no charge for the conversation and no call-out fee.
3. Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation
We book a date and an arrival window rather than an exact minute. If we are going to fall outside that window, we call you.
Please give us 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule when you can. There is no cancellation fee, and no fee for rescheduling. Life happens, and charging you for it is not the kind of business we want to run.
The one limit: if same-day cancellations become a pattern on a recurring booking, we may stop holding a standing slot for you and move to booking each visit individually. We will tell you before that happens, not after.
If we have to cancel on you, we tell you as early as we can and offer the soonest slot we genuinely have. We will not hold a date we cannot cover.
4. Getting into your home
You can let us in, leave a key, give us a door code, or set up a lockbox — whatever suits you. Most of our recurring clients are not home during the visit.
If we keep a key between visits, it is stored securely and it is never labelled with your address or name. Only the two of us — the crew that cleans your home — ever have access to it. When your service ends, you tell us whether to return the key or destroy it, and we do that.
If we cannot get in — a code changed, a lock jammed, a lockbox is empty — we call and text you and wait up to 30 minutes. If we still cannot get in, we reschedule. There is no lockout fee.
If you have an alarm, tell us the code and what to do if it trips before the first visit rather than on the day.
5. What is included
Our room-by-room checklist is the scope. A standard clean covers what is listed there. A deep clean adds the items listed under the deep-clean section. Add-ons are quoted separately and never appear on an invoice unless you asked for them.
If something you want is not on the list, ask. It is usually either already covered or a small add-on, and we would rather tell you before cleaning day than have you find out after.
6. What we do not do
Some things are outside what a two-person residential cleaning crew should take on. We will tell you plainly rather than attempt them:
- Exterior windows, and anything needing a ladder beyond a two-step stool
- Mould remediation, biohazard cleanup, or anything involving human or animal waste beyond ordinary bathroom and litter-tray cleaning
- Pest control, or cleaning in an actively infested space
- Moving heavy furniture or appliances. We clean under and behind what moves safely by hand.
- Hoarding cleanup or full property clear-outs
- Anything that would put us on a roof, in a crawl space, or in an unsafe structure
- Handling firearms, prescription medication, cash or loose valuables. We clean around them.
7. Before we arrive
Cleaning goes faster, and costs you less, if surfaces are clear. We clean, we do not organise — picking up counters, floors and tables beforehand can take 30 to 45 minutes off a job.
Please tell us in advance about special surfaces, product preferences, allergies, alarm systems, pets, and anything fragile or valuable you would rather we did not touch.
8. Pets
We are comfortable working in homes with pets and we would rather know about them in advance, even the friendly ones — it changes what we bring.
Please secure any animal that is anxious around strangers or likely to bolt. Doors get propped open on cleaning day. If a pet behaves aggressively toward us, we stop, leave the area, and call you rather than trying to manage it ourselves.
We do not clean pet accidents beyond ordinary litter-tray and floor cleaning.
9. Our guarantee
If something in the agreed scope was missed, tell us within 24 hours of the visit and we come back and re-clean that area at no charge.
To be exact about it: the guarantee is a re-clean, not a refund. That is the whole policy, and we say the same thing everywhere it appears on this site.
10. Damage and breakage
We carry liability insurance, which covers damage we cause while working, and we are bonded, which covers theft. Ask and we will send you the certificate.
Accidents are rare, and we would far rather hear about one immediately than find out later. Tell us within 48 hours of the visit. We will repair the item, replace it, or credit you its value — whichever you would prefer and we can reasonably do.
What this does not cover: damage that was already there, items that were already loose, cracked or failing, ordinary wear, and items of unusual value that were not pointed out to us in advance. If something in your home is genuinely valuable or irreplaceable, tell us and we will clean around it.
11. Payment
Payment is due when the clean is finished. We accept cash, check, and card or bank transfer — tell us which you prefer when we quote.
For large one-off jobs — post-construction cleans, or move-outs on bigger homes — we may ask for a deposit before the date. If we do, we will say so at the quote, never later.
There are no contracts, no minimum number of visits, no card kept on file, and no cancellation fee.
12. When we would end a visit early
Rare, but worth saying in advance. We will stop and leave if:
- There is no running water or no power
- The property is structurally unsafe, or there is an active leak, gas smell or electrical fault
- Anyone in the home behaves threateningly toward us
- There is an active infestation
13. Photos
We sometimes take before-and-after photos as an internal record of the work — it is how we check our own quality and settle any question about what was done.
Those photos are never used in marketing, on this website, or anywhere public without your written permission, asked for separately. Saying no changes nothing about your service.
14. Your information
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
15. Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
