Apartment and condo cleaning

Apartment and condo cleaning across Middle Tennessee, priced by the unit.

We are a mom-and-son crew out of Lebanon, and apartments and condos are work we take on the same as houses. A one-bedroom off Charlotte Pike is a different job than a three-bedroom in Mt. Juliet, so we price by unit size and condition instead of pretending every place is the same. Call (615) 257-6177 with your floor plan and we will give you a price range on the phone before anyone drives out.

What to expect

What is actually different about cleaning an apartment.

Apartments are not small houses. There is less floor and more edge, the kitchen is a galley instead of an island, and the building has rules about when we can park and where we can carry a vacuum. Here is how we handle the parts that trip people up. Tell us the building name and unit number when you call so we can sort out the access side before cleaning day.

01

Getting in the building

Tell us how access works and we will work with it: a leasing office key pickup, a gate code, a fob for the elevator, a lockbox, or you letting us in and heading to work. If the office holds keys, the unit needs Little Debbie 2 Rescue listed with them before we arrive, and we will ask about it when we confirm the appointment.

02

Parking, elevators, and hauling gear

Downtown, the Gulch, and Midtown buildings usually mean a garage level, a loading dock window, or a fifteen-minute visitor spot. Garden-style complexes in Hermitage, Donelson, and Murfreesboro are usually a straight walk-up. We bring what fits the trip instead of dragging a full house kit up three flights, and we do not bill you for the walk from the car.

03

More surface per square foot

A 700-square-foot one-bedroom has almost as much baseboard, trim, door frame, and cabinet edge as a home twice its size, plus a stacked washer and dryer closet and a balcony slider that collects grit. That is where the time goes in an apartment, so that is where we spend it: edges, tracks, tile grout lines at the tub, and the top of the kitchen cabinets when there is no soffit.

04

Small kitchens and one bathroom that has to be right

When there is one bathroom, it gets the whole treatment every visit: shower walls, glass or curtain rod, the drain, behind the toilet base, the vent cover, and the mirror. Galley kitchens get the stove top, hood filter face, sink, backsplash, exterior of the fridge and dishwasher, and inside the microwave, which is included rather than an add-on.

05

Tight turnaround windows

Renters and property managers rarely have a whole day. If your lease ends at noon, the carpet crew comes at two, or your short-term rental guest checks in at four, say so when you book and we will tell you straight whether that window works before you commit. Both of us work a turnover, so the unit gets done in one visit instead of one person stretching it across half a day.

What it usually runs

Typical price ranges, before you call.

These are honest estimate ranges for the Greater Nashville area, not a quote. Your final price depends on the size and condition of your space and what you want included. We give you the number before cleaning day.

Apartment and Condo Cleaning

SpaceTypical rangeWhat moves it
Studio or 1 bed / 1 bath, standard clean$110 - $160Estimate, not a quote. Low end for a maintained unit on a recurring schedule, high end for a first visit or heavy shower build-up.
2 bed / 1-2 bath, standard clean$135 - $195Estimate. A second full bathroom and a shared living space add time; roommate units with a full sink of dishes run toward the top.
3 bed apartment or condo, standard clean$165 - $240Estimate, priced on bathroom count and floor area more than bedroom count. A townhouse-style second floor or a bonus room pushes it up.
Deep clean, any apartment size$170 - $350Estimate. First-time cleans, units not touched in six months, heavy pet hair, or grease on the hood and cabinet fronts. Sized by unit.
Move-out or move-in clean, empty unit$175 - $375Estimate. Empty units include cabinet and drawer interiors, closet shelves, and blinds. Inside oven and inside fridge add $25 - $50 each.
Recurring apartment service, per visit$100 - $215Estimate. Recurring visits are quoted below the one-time price, weekly lowest and monthly highest. The first visit is still quoted at the standard or deep rate.

How it works

A clear plan before cleaning day.

1

Tell us the unit, not just the address

Call (615) 257-6177 or send the form with bedrooms, bathrooms, rough square footage, floor, whether there is an elevator, and pets. Those details get you an accurate number instead of a guess we have to raise later.

2

We quote before we drive out

You get a price range on the phone and a firm number once we know the condition. We do not do the trick where the price changes at the door. If something in the unit is worse than described, we tell you what it adds and you decide before we start.

3

We sort out access and the time window

Key pickup, fob, gate code, or you meeting us. If the building limits work hours or requires the office to be open, we schedule around it. For move-outs and turnovers we ask for the hard deadline up front so we can say yes or no honestly instead of leaving you guessing.

4

We clean it and stand behind it

Both of us work the unit so it is done in one visit. If something got missed, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it at no charge. We are insured and bonded, and we can say so to your leasing office if they ask.

Questions

Useful answers before you request a quote.

How much does apartment cleaning cost in Nashville?

For a standard clean of an occupied apartment, most units land between $110 and $240 depending on size and condition. A studio or one-bedroom is usually $110 to $160, a two-bedroom $135 to $195, and a three-bedroom apartment or condo $165 to $240. Those are typical Middle Tennessee ranges, not a firm quote. Call (615) 257-6177 with your bedroom and bathroom count and we will give you a real number.

How much is it to clean a 1 bedroom apartment?

A one-bedroom or studio with one bathroom typically runs $110 to $160 for a standard clean. If it has not been cleaned in several months, has heavy soap scum in the shower, or has pet hair worked into the carpet, it is a deep clean instead and usually falls between $165 and $250 for that size.

How much does apartment move out cleaning cost?

An empty apartment cleaned for a final walkthrough usually runs $175 to $375, with a studio or one-bedroom at the low end and a three-bedroom at the high end. Empty units cost more than a routine clean because we get into cabinet and drawer interiors, closet shelves, blinds, and appliance edges that furniture normally hides. Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator are add-ons, typically $25 to $50 each. Those are estimates until we know the condition.

Do you charge by the hour for small apartment jobs?

We prefer a flat price per unit so you know the cost up front, but for partial jobs, like one bathroom and a kitchen, or an hour of catch-up before company arrives, we charge roughly $30 to $40 per hour per cleaner, which is inside the usual Nashville range of $25 to $50. Both of us on a job means two cleaner-hours per clock hour.

Do I have to be home, and how do you get in?

You do not have to be there. Most people pick one of three things: leave a key with the leasing office, give us a gate code and lockbox combination, or let us in on the way out the door. Tell us which one when you book. If the office holds the key, add Little Debbie 2 Rescue to your unit's authorized list first, or they will not release it.

Do you bring your own vacuum and supplies?

Yes, everything comes with us, which matters in a walk-up where there is nowhere to stage a cart. If you want us to use a specific product because of allergies, a pet, or a finish in the unit, leave it on the counter and tell us, and we will use yours instead.

How long does an apartment take?

With both of us working, a one-bedroom standard clean is usually about an hour and a half to two hours, a two-bedroom two to three, and a three-bedroom three to four. Condition moves that a lot. A first-time deep clean or an empty move-out often runs close to double because of the cabinets, baseboards, and appliance detail.

Can you do condos and short-term rental turnovers?

Yes. A condo is the same job as an apartment with different building rules. For short-term rental turnovers we work to your check-out and check-in window, can reset linens if you leave them out, and will text you if we spot something damaged or missing so you can deal with it before the next guest.
